ALS Release class is required for all EMT-I and EMT-P interns before they are released to function independently.  It can be taken at any point during your intership – interns are encouraged to take it early because they are not allowed to use equipment such as CPAP until they have taken the class.  This class covers ALS functions of the MRL, the use of the Oxy-Peep CPAP, and other ALS skills unique to Va. Beach EMS. These classes are approximately 4 hours long

Please register for ALS Release class by calling 385-2970.  For questions, please contact Lt. Eric de Forest at 385-2975 or edefores@vbgov.com.
