On-Line Courses
Welcome to the Virginia Beach Department of EMS online classroom. From here members of the emergency response system will have access to continuing education opportunities outside traditional learning programs.
Each online learning program is designed to be completed within one (1) hour. All programs should be completed "on duty" if possible. Instructor assistance is available from 0830 to 2300 through the Training Division, EMS 5 or EMS 6. Contact information and numbers are provided with each program. Upon successful completion of certain courses a post course test may be required, members will be eligible for continuing education credits. Category 1 credit from the Virginia Office of EMS has been requested for successful completion of VBEMS online continuing education programs.
