The Situational Awareness course is a crucial and dynamic operations track course for new members to the system and any that want experience a more realistic view of safety awareness. The session provides valuable information on provider safety and unique insight on possible hazards. The session consists of an indoor lecture component with outdoor active scenarios. The sessions occur with the beneficial partnership and support of our VBPD Training partners at the Creeds Police Training facility. During the program, VBPD and VBEMS work together to provide a memorable training experience. This session is built into the last portion of the VBEMS BLS Academy, so space may be limited.
