Abigail Ramos Serving VB Rescue Through U.S. Navy SkillBridge Program

Active duty, reserve and retired members of the United States Armed Forces have always been an integral part of VB Rescue. Abigail Ramos has joined that group.

Thursday, Ramos, an active duty member of the United States Navy, finished her Basic Life Support (BLS) Internship and was released as an Attendant-in-Charge with VB Rescue.

Ramos joined VB Rescue earlier this year through the Navy’s SkillBridge program and Hero to Hero, an organization dedicated to providing active duty service members a pathway to first responder careers. Already a certified EMT, Ramos began her internship upon her arrival and will now run duties as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) on VB Rescue ambulances.

VB Rescue is thrilled to support Ramos as she gains experience and prepares herself for a career after the armed services.  VB Rescue will always support and serve our local military community, especially when it comes to developing their skill sets in the pre-hospital medical field.
