Commercial EMS agencies wishing to be permitted to operate in Virginia Beach must complete and submit the following documents:
The application process involves the following checks:
- Agency’s VA DOH OEMS license is current
- Agency has no demonstrated pattern of receiving enforcement actions from VA DOH OEMS
- Principle personnel (CEO/COO/OMD) have no demonstrated pattern of receiving enforcement actions from VA DOH OEMS
- VDH OEMS Program Representative endorses that agency is in good standing
- Agency is in good standing with the SCC
- Agency is in good standing with VB Commissioner of the Revenue
- Agency is in good standing with VB Treasurer
