The Department of EMS is accepting applications for the newly created position of volunteer Assistant Chief. This is an appointed position reporting directly to a Deputy Chief. Assistant Chiefs will directly supervise a group of rescue squads, providing the support and leadership necessary for the assigned Squad Commanders and members. Appointments will be made for a two year term with options for extension at the discretion of the Chief of EMS.
